What Mesopotamian legacy has helped us the most? Cuneiform, because it helped us communicate through time and art.

Our earliest form of writing, recording and it was the first time that history was recorded.
It was the start of recording crops and taxes. Scribes would draw symbols on wet clay tablets when dry it was a permenat recording.

1800 BCE
Cuneiform means wedged shapes and it was the earliest form of writing.
3000 BCE
People began to record different amount of crops, barley was the most important crop.

Even though cuneiform is the oldest form of writing it is the basis of communication today in math and writing.
how it was important to mesopotamia
Cuneiform signs were put together and developed to represent sounds, so they could be recorded and communicated. Temple officials used cuneiform to record grain, sheep and cattle.
How it influenced Western Canada
Its the basis of writing and math which we use in Canada today. We use it in taxes, farming, trade, and written communication.
