March, 2024 Newsletter
School District of Westfield
"Inspiring Every Student, Through Every Experience, Every Day!"
Dear Pioneer Families
🎉 **Welcome to the April District-wide Newsletter!** 🎉
As we transition from March to April, we're excited to share what's happening across the district. From performances to academic achievements and spring sports, there's a lot going on.
First up, mark your calendar for April 3rd at 6:00 pm in the HS Auditorium for the MS/HS Choir performance. Also, please remember that there's no school on April 5th as the third quarter ends. This gives our staff time for professional development and planning. Don't forget about the South Central Conference Top 10 Academic Achievement Awards Banquet on April 17th at the High School.
Additionally, the Westfield Area Middle School will perform "Matilda" the musical on April 11th-13th at 6.30 p.m.
While Juniors have finished their ACT testing, many students are still taking state tests. Please help your student by ensuring they get enough sleep and are prepared for these exams.
In addition to academics, spring sports are in full swing. Check out our District Calendar to stay updated on all events.
Thank you for your support, and stay informed by reading this newsletter. We can't wait to see you at the upcoming events!
Warm regards,
Michelle Johnson

District-Wide Facility Usage Request Process
Please be aware of the "new" electronic facility use request process.
On the school district website you will find a link on the home page that indicates "Facilities Use Form and Calendar." If anyone ever needs to request use of a facility they would initially apply to be a "requestor" via the link. This will provide you with an application and a password upon approval. It will be important to ensure that the individual or group in need of the facility is the individual who wants to use the building/location. This individual will receive all communication and play a key role in the process. Once the facility usage request is received and approved, key people such as custodians, principals, and the athletic director will be emailed that this request has been added to the calendar.
Please click on the link below for direct access.
