Teachers and staff are ready for school!
August 18, 2022
Excitement is building as we all prepare for our students to return from summer break. This past week the staff and I met to prepare for the start of the school year. Leader in Me continues to be a focal point for our school. We believe that leadership development is a critical aspect of what we do here at St. Patrick Catholic School. Through Leader In Me, our students will have different opportunities to serve in leadership roles.
Everyone has been working hard to prepare for orientation and the first day of school. Staff had three full days of professional development, action team planning, and grade level collaboration. Class lists will be emailed out to parents on Friday, August 19.
We are looking forward to having students back in the building and starting school. We are fortunate to have a fantastic staff that is faithful, hard-working, and dedicated to educating your children.
Jon Wiebers
Principal

Class Lists
We listened to YOU! Based on the results of our Leader in Measurable Results Survey in the spring, we have created a Parent Input form to let you share information about your child as the year begins. Kindergarten and preschool teachers included a similar form with final registration, so the Google Form you will see in the class list email is for grades 1-8. Thank you for sharing information that will help your student have a great year.
Kindergarten/New Family Picnic
If you have a kindergartner or are new to the St. Patrick School community, we invite you to join us for a picnic at Lookout Park Shelter 1 (at Park Dr. and Mandalay Dr.) on Saturday, August 20, at 5:30 PM.Bring food, beverages, and utensils for your group and come get acquainted with other St. Patrick families.
Beginning Band Information
Band is open to students in grades 5-8. Students will attend an instrument demonstration in music class the week of August 29. Open House for interested families will be in the CCC from 6-8 PM on Sept.8. If your child would like to participate in band, please return the registration form to the office by Sept. 6. Read the Beginning Band Information Letter. Download the Beginning Band Registration Form.
An Easy Way to Help
Here's an easy way to help with our playground resurfacing project. Sign up to sell raffle tickets after Masses at St. Patrick! We're starting this weekend and we need YOU!
Homeroom Parents Needed
Each classroom is in need of a Homeroom Parent to coordinate party snacks and drinks through the year. This is a straightforward role with a small and consistent time commitment. If you would be willing to help in this way please email me with either a specific teacher(s) you'd be willing to help or just say "any teacher" and I will be happy to fill you in. Click here to learn more and to see a sample letter to parents.
Thank you,
Sarah Burke
