Dear Rocket Families,
Have you read a book with your child lately? Did you know that reading aloud to children has been shown to improve reading, writing, listening, and communication skills? Please join us as we help bring back the love of reading to our children! Check out Storyline Online. This free website streams videos featuring celebrated actors reading children’s books 24 hours a day. Enjoy!

CFC (Community for Creativity) Showcase
Our first annual CFC (Community for Creativity) Showcase will be held on Tuesday, May 14, 2024. The CFC Showcase, formally known as the Talent Show, is a chance for our rocket learners to share performance based creative talents (grades 3-5), and also showcase creative talents that are not performance based (grades K-5). Some examples of non-performance based (creative) talents are painting, crocheting, Lego creations, song writing, poetry, drawing, inventions, origami, and so much more! These talents will be displayed, not performed. If you have a child interested in showcasing a non-performance based talent, please help your child fill out this Google form:

Leader in Me -Synergize
Would you like to synergize with your child(ren) to practice reinforcing the 7 Habits of Leader in Me at home? If so, click here for a fun family game of BINGO using the 7 Habits.
Wonderful Walkers
Have you heard about our Wonderful Walkers? Students in grades 2 through 5 work hard to earn "Wonderful Walker" purple SOAR cards for showing exceptional leadership skills as they walk after lunch. Afterwards, students place the SOAR card in a container to be randomly chosen every Friday on the morning announcements for a free ice cream treat from Mrs. Blodgett. By implementing this initiative, our goal is to foster a harmonious and courteous environment that benefits all students. We enjoy observing our Wonderful Walkers SOAR and demonstrate leadership among their classmates.
