"It isn't what we say
or think that defines us,
but what we do."
~Jane Austen from Sense & Sensibility
Great Things Going On!
- Data meetings this week were productive and positive. The sharing of ideas and problem solving of solutions were appreciated. Everyone's input is valuable!! Thank you for hard work to make our meetings look different this year.
- In visiting classrooms this week, I was able to have some conversations with students about their data folders. How exciting to see them so excited about their growth!!
- All our students were AMAZING at the Fire Prevention Programs. I am interested to hear your thoughts on this change of format from last year. Let me know what went well, what could be better and if there is anything that should be included for next year. I will share these suggestions with the RFD!

Nuts & Bolts
Just because your students can't fill out the graphic organizer or write a paragraph using CER doesn't mean that this isn't a useful strategy. Developing this skill verbally can lead to a student automatically using this strategy in their writing.
If you try it out....let me know how it works for you and your students!
