Your time is valuable. What is the difference between a tour and the Theme Showcase?
Magnet Theme Showcase- This event will offer you the most input and insights into Athens Drive Magnet High School. We host tours, presentations, and demonstrations during this night. Most faculty are involved in this event. We'll have representatives from academics, academies, sports, and clubs. Don't miss out!
Virtual Tour- Led by the principal, magnet coordinator, parent, and student representatives, this is a brief series of presentations about our school, followed by a question and answer session.
In-Person Tour- Led by the principal, magnet coordinator, parent, and student representatives, this is a brief series of presentations about our school followed by a physical tour of the building. Note- these tours are limited in capacity and are filling up quickly!

Magnet, base, academy?
- If Athens Drive Magnet High School is your base, you do nothing in January. You do not need to do the magnet application process. You are already a magnet student!
- If Athens Drive Magnet High School is NOT your base, you will need to do the magnet application in January. Choose only the schools you wish to attend. Do NOT fill in every alternate spot unless you are sure you would want to attend that school.
- Mid-February magnet applicants will be notified of their magnet application status.
- If in February you are scheduled to attend our school (base or magnet application) and you want to attend an academy, you MUST complete the online academy application. The academy application will be on the school website and tentatively open from February 22- March 7. Don't miss the deadline!
