We are beginning the process of administering the state assessments for ELA (6/7/8) and math (6/7/8). On assessment days, please make sure your student has corded headphones, a charged laptop, charger, and water bottle.

Pulsera Project
From 04/18/2022 to 04/29/2022, During lunches Spanish students at Victory will be selling hand-woven bracelets, or ‘pulseras’, to empower the artists who make them in Nicaragua & Guatemala. The sale was organized through the Pulsera Project, a Fair Trade nonprofit organization that empowers and educates people in the U.S. and Central America through pulsera sales. Each bracelet is $5 dollars cash or check (made to VMS) are accepted. Student and teacher volunteers raise funds that benefit fair trade jobs, worker rights, sustainability, and education, while learning about the culture, lives, and struggles of Central Americans. The Pulsera Project’s goal is to create a more just and colorful world by encouraging conscious consumerism and social enterprise. CLICK HERE to visit the website
Prescription Drug Take Back Day
ATTENTION 8th Grade Parents & Students
All 8th graders are required to fill out a 4-year planner for high school. Your student has been given instructions on how to fill in the planner in their advisory class. Please note that these planners need parent approval. All the information about 4-year planners can be found on the VMS website.

You will also find the Course Description Handbook and the 4-year planner.
Please listen to the YouTube video, encourage your student through the process, and after reviewing your student's planner, click on the Parent/Guardian Approval Link on the planner and push submit.

Math Help!
RETAKE Math ASSESSMENTS
Our Math Intervention Teacher, Mrs. Shalz, is available during the sessions listed below to provide math 6, 7, and 8 students with extra practice and an opportunity to retake assessments to demonstrate deeper understanding of the grade level math concepts. Please Note: This help is not available for students in honors or advanced math. Students in honors and advanced math should work with their math teacher to schedule a re-assessment.
Students should bring their graded Math assessment so Mrs. Shalz can help make corrections. Students are welcome to attend retake sessions even if they don’t have their graded Math assessment.
Students should get a pass from their Math Teacher or Mrs. Shalz before attending retake sessions.

The Sandlot VMS Softball Game
Students VS Staff at Victory Middle School. If you loved SPACE JAM, then come out May 12th, for THE SANDLOT EVENT at VMS. This is a Victory Middle School Parent, Teacher, Student Organization sponsored Event. We will have silent auction items, food trucks, a fun talent show, face-painting and the main event, Students VS Staff in an action packed softball game. This is bound to be FUN And LOUD! Doors open at 5, GAME starts at 6. Presale tickets start March 28th. You can purchase your online tickets starting March 28th, or purchase them at lunch April 18th-20th and April 26th-28th $2 per person! Come and root on your favorite players!!! Go Kodiaks!!!
