Reflections on the Week
While it was a productive week, it was not without some stress and anxiety. I believe we are experiencing GROWING PAINS. The good news is that growing pains are temporary. We know where we are, we know where we need to go, and we have a plan to get there. We are on the right track.
Remember your support systems, remember your "Go to" people when you are stressed and anxious. Most importantly, remember that you are are doing what is best for kids. We are stronger together.
Intervention Plan
We have a digital form that was shared which should make the task a bit easier. It is actually a sample that you may edit. Please remember to make a copy and rename it before entering any information. Mia and I wanted to provide you with a sample in hopes that it would help clarify things for you.
You will also see in there, a portion for you to jot down notes for the Gradual Release of Responsibility (GRR). We are not looking for lengthy notes, just whatever you need to help you remember pacing and how you will release responsibility to the students regarding their learning that day.
You should find that once this is complete, it can serve as your lesson plan because it contains everything your lesson plans have and more: TEKS to be addressed, Lesson Frame, GRR, and anything else YOU feel should be included.
If you have already completed your lesson plans, simply copy/paste into the template. We really are trying to work smarter and not harder. The days are flying past us and we must remain focused on our goal to move each student forward. We hope this document helps you do that.
I will share a link to the template on our HUB. As always, if you have questions or concerns, let us know. We are here to help.
