Once you are logged in, click on "Required Employee Training".
You will need to complete the following trainings by the deadlines indicated below.
DIRECTIONS FOR COMPLETING TRAINING:
Moodle Training:
At the conclusion of the Moodle trainings (not including the Jason Foundation Suicide Prevention Training), please click on the quizzes tab in the top-left corner of the Moodle site. This will allow you to print a one-page transcript summary of your 8 trainings. Sign and date this page and turn it in to your supervisor.
**WARNING: Print the transcript (summary of quizzes) IMMEDIATELY after completing the online training assessments. These tend to disappear within a week or so after completion of training!
Suicide Prevention/Jason Foundation Training:
In 2016, the Tennessee legislature passed new law requiring that ALL employees of local education agencies also need to complete annual training in suicide prevention. Kingsport City Schools provides this training through the Jason Foundation. A link to the Jason Foundation website is located at the bottom of the Moodle training web page. Please follow the directions on the Moodle site for accessing this training. Once you have completed this training, you need to print a certificate of completion from the Jason Foundation site, sign and date it, and turn this in to your supervisor NO LATER THAN September 1.
There are multiple courses that you can select through the Jason Foundation website. You will need to complete a total of 2 hours of training. The specific courses are at your choice.
