French Visits Miller for Snacks and Storytime
On Friday, April 28, members of the Honors 7 and Honors 8 French classes visited Miller School to take part in Snacks and Storytime 2023, which was sponsored by an EHTEA Pride Grant. The French students prepared a read aloud of a French book, posters and word mats for the Miller students to use to follow along, and a craft associated with their book for each student to make together and bring home. The Miller students even learned enough French to present their craft to their groups! The sessions concluded with a goodie bag of snacks and stickers. It was a wonderful day for all 675 students involved!
ASL Club
As ASL Club comes to an end, we celebrated with pizza and treats along with review. This was a very productive year!! Hopefully we have sparked some future sign language teachers/interpreters.
