ASVAB Test - March 20
On Wednesday, March 20th, 2024, Valhalla will host the ASVAB Career Exploration Exam.
The ASVAB Career Exploration Program (CEP) is a unique opportunity to explore all of your career and post-secondary options so you can make a plan that works for you. The ASVAB CEP helps you identify your skills and interests so that you can find potentially satisfying career fields and explore all of the paths you can take to gain entry into your career field of choice. While the ASVAB is administered by the military, it is NOT enlisting you in the military. Click here for a video overview of the exam.
You will be excused from your classes to participate in the exam. However, you are responsible for any missed work, etc. To sign up for the exam, fill out the Google Form here. Questions? Please see Mrs. Ruiz or Ms. Hoff in the Counseling Office during break or lunch.

Please Welcome Our New AP Toshia Bartley
It is with great pride and excitement that I join the Valhalla High School Team as an Assistant Principal. I look forward to positively impacting every student’s performance and school experience.
I have lived in El Cajon all of my life and attended elementary, middle and high school here. I most recently was Principal at a TK-8th grade school in Cajon Valley. Prior to my principalship I spent three years as an assistant principal at Hillsdale Middle school. I also spent ten years teaching at a wide variety of schools and grade levels.
The high school years are an important and critical time of transition for students. Our job, as a team, is to prepare them to be successful in life outside of High School. Parents, teachers, support staff, community and administration all play a part in helping each student meet and exceed our expectations. I look forward to working with you and your student.
