Binge Eating
A person with binge eating disorder does not try to "compensate" by purging the food. This eating disorder is similar to anorexia and bulimia because a person binges regularly on food (at least once a week, but typically more often).
Bulimia
Might binge eat and then try to compensate in extreme ways, such as making themselves throw up or exercising excesses, to prevent weight gain. Over time, these steps can be dangerous — both physically and emotionally.
