Notes from the School Office
- IOWA Testing for grades 3, 5, and 7 begins next week.
- Little Lambs will meet again next Thursday, March 7 from 10:00 - 11:15 am in Mrs. Schisel's 3K/4K classroom. This is a great opportunity for families to see what preschool is like. Help us grow our enrollment -- spread the word!
- The end of the second trimester is Monday, so expect Report Cards next Friday!
- Please join us for the All School Mass on Wednesday, March 13, when members of the St. Lawrence Seminary Praise Team will be leading the Mass music.
- The Rams basketball season has come to an end. Please return basketball uniforms to the school office ASAP or by Wednesday, March 27 before we go on Easter Break. THANK YOU to the coaches Joe Loehr, Jill Stoffel, Mike Gantner, and Jason Ottery (athletic director) for their time and service to our school and student athletes!
- Our Cook, Mrs. Marcin, will be on a well-deserved vacation at the end of April. We are looking for volunteers to help prepare and serve hot lunch from Monday, April 29 to Friday, May 3. Please contact the school office if you are available to help.
- Looking ahead to May, we will be holding Mass & Field Day on Friday, May 17 at Camp Vista. Dismissal of students will take place after lunch at NOON, rather than 1:00 pm. Teachers are planning activities now. A schedule of the day with a volunteer sign-up will be published as details are finalized.
- We are running low on paper towels. If you can send a roll or two to get us through to the end of the year, that would be very helpful. Thanks!

Bunny Brunch
Don't Bug Me, I'm Reading! Assembly
The students at today's reading assembly enjoyed hearing the number of books read over the last month -- 1,154 books were read from 3K through eighth grade. This is amazing! We are well on our way to goal one of reading 6,000 books. We are currently at 5,386. Once reached the students will earn an ice cream party! It won’t be long now!
The students today also enjoyed celebrating Dr. Seuss‘s birthday! The seventh and eighth graders read to groups of younger students a variety of Dr. Seuss books. They then all colored a Dr. Seuss bookmark. As well, two different times throughout the day and announcement over the school speaker said for all to stop drop and read. This was a lot of fun for the students and allowed for extra reading time within our school day.
FDL Community Theater - Mary Poppins Jr.
Auditions in March!
Audition for Mary Poppins Jr.
Auditions: March 12, 15, or 17
250 W 9th St, Fond du Lac
Show dates: July 18-21
Age range: all children age 8-15 are welcome to audition! Since each child is different, we will leave this up to parent judgment: Can your child complete tasks independently? Can they follow directions? Can they stay in one location without wandering off? If yes, your child is ready for theater!
What should I expect at auditions? You will not need to prepare anything for this audition. We’ll teach you a part of a song and a quick dance, and we may give you something to read for us as well. Not ready to sing and dance alone? No problem! We’ll have group singing and dancing activities for everyone to do together!
We strive to make children’s theater a positive experience for every student. No need to be nervous – we just need to meet you and sort through where everyone will fit best in the production. There’s a place for everyone!
