Devotion Corner
Gentleness Devotion
This week's devotion about gentleness is from todaydevotional.com and it is titled, "Gentleness." Click on the link to read it over. https://todaydevotional.com/devotions/gentleness-1
Gentleness Trait
This month's character trait for CCA is Gentleness. We asked 3 students what Gentleness meant to them and this is what they said. Audrey B. from 2nd grade said, “ Gentleness is being kind to others and not hurting my friends”, Seth, in 4th grade, said, “ Gentleness is being nice to people and being kind”, and Kalynn, in 7th grade, said, “ Gentleness is being kind and tenderhearted”. Philippians 4:5 says, “ Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. --Carissa
Survey Says:
This week’s survey says question, would you rather draw with sidewalk chalk, or fly a kite? It was a very close vote and it was a very difficult decision for most of the students. After much deliberation, the winner was sidewalk chalk with a total vote of 43. Flying a kite was only one vote short of a tie, ending with a vote of 42. Did you know that sidewalk chalk was first used in the 16th century? It is believed that chalking the streets first originated in Europe. But it did not become popular in America until the mid-20th century. -Audrey F.
The CCA Book Fair is Coming Soon
