Room 9 News
3rd Grade - Mrs. Fitzgerald
Welcome to 3rd Grade!
I hope you all had a wonderful summer vacation, filled with fun in the sun and lots of quality family time. This is our first class newsletter and I will be sending one out at the end of each month throughout the school year. In our newsletter you will find important reminders, class news, student recognitions, and much more!
The newsletter format is set to private and can only be accessed with the link. If you would like an additional email address added to the class newsletter distribution list, please let me know and I'll add it.
Please take a moment this week to fill out the following Google form: Back 2 School Parent Survey If you would prefer to fill out the form via hard copy, please let me know. Please complete the parent survey by Monday, August 21. Your child will receive 1 raffle ticket for the Friday raffle if the survey is completed by Monday! Thank you!
Meet Your Teacher...
When I’m not in the classroom, I like to spend time with my husband and 3½ year old son, Ben. We enjoy going on bike rides, hiking in the Santa Cruz Mountains, and watching the Cars movie over and over…and over. Dancing and the performing arts has been a passion of mine since a young age, and I continue to participate in a local performing group in Santa Clara. We will be adding another member to our family (a baby boy) in October! I will be going on maternity leave starting in October, and I will be returning in March. Your child's success this year is a top priority of mine, so I will be an active participant in choosing the long term substitute that will take over while I am on maternity leave.
I look forward to working as a team and making this the best school year!
