Getting Through The Day!
Active during the day the Butterfly Fish get through the water by moving their tail and fins in sync.
Live in low tide among the coral reef. They can also be in some tide pools.
To Eat or To Be Eaten
About the size of a teapot these fish can eat only certain things:
- Plankton, Coral, Sea Anemones, Polyps, Worms, & Other Small Invertebrates
- Sharks & Eel
Try To Survive!
- At night these fish use their unique colors to blend with the coral reef
- Use their small size to squeeze into small spaces to sleep
