Ways we can provent Environmental Toxins
Air Pollution
Water Pollution
Every day we use water. We use it to flush the toilet, do laundry, cook, take a shower, and more. Where do you think all the water goes? All of this water goes to get treated to put back in the ocean. Even if they clean the water its not the same as fresh water. Another big problem that causes water pollution is garbage and oil spills. The most common way to prevent this is to use water wisely and don't spill oils and other things down the sink.
Harms that water pollution does to our body.
How does water pollution affect humans? Try drinking untreated water nowadays and your body will immediately react to it. You will get a stomach ache at the least. Water-borne diseases account for the deaths of 3,575,000 people a year! That’s equivalent to a jumbo jet crashing every hour, and the majority of these are children.
Ground Pollution
Ground pollution is caused by humans injecting chemicals into the soil with produce life for plants and animals. This is also bad for our ecosystems. We prevent this by Reduce, Re-Use, Recycle, and compost.
Harms- Long term exposure to such soil can affect the genetic make-up of the body, causing congenital illnesses and chronic health problems that cannot be cured easily. In fact, it can sicken the livestock to a considerable extent and cause food poisoning over a long period of time. The soil pollution can even lead to widespread famines if the plants are unable to grow in it.
