NO SCHOOL on Good Friday
Friday, March 29, 2024
We've had a busy week back from Spring Break and it is only going to get busier! We had APTT, spring pictures, Young Masters, a Roundtable Rally, and more! Great things are happening at the Castle. ❤🖤💙💚
Next week is a short week for us. We have a school holiday on Friday, March 29, but will be back on Monday, April 1.
Speaking of April 1, that day will be the first day of our "new and improved" dismissal procedures. We want to make sure we always put the safety of our Knight community at the forefront, so we are making a few tweaks. Quite a bit of communication regarding the new procedures will be coming to you through videos, paper handouts, Facebook, and emails, so please be sure to keep an eye out and familiarize yourself with the information.
Thank you to the families who attended our PreK and 5th Grade APTT sessions this week. Please be sure to check out the flyers below for the remaining dates and times for each grade level.
On Monday, April 8, we will all be able to witness a once-in-a-lifetime solar eclipse event. We have purchased solar eclipse glasses for every student and we are going to make sure everyone has an opportunity to view the eclipse in a safe manner. Permission slips went home this week, so please send those in if you have not already done that. **STUDENTS WILL NO BE ABLE TO VIEW THE ECLIPSE AT SCHOOL WITHOUT A PERMISSION SLIP**
***REMINDER -Any child who arrives at school after 8:00 AM will be escorted to their classroom by their parent/guardian. Instruction begins right at 8:00 AM, and we do not have a minute to spare, so every minute counts. Thank you for getting your child to school on time!
***Have you joined PTA? PTA helps support us with many programs such as Bike Rodeo, Fiesta Festival, the purchase of house shirts, food and beverage, field trips, and so much more. We have grown to 75 members and I know we can reach our goal of 250. Join today at JoinPTA.org! Anyone can join! Parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, friends, students, community members, etc.! Thank you for helping PTA support our students!***
Thank you for sharing your children with us!
