Dear St. Stanislaus Families
I hope this finds all of our families healthy!
Teachers have been working to check in with each of our families. If any family should need anything after a phone call or in between emails, please be sure to reach out! Communication and prayer are going to be the best way to get through this time.
I am doing a mid-week Smore leading up to the weekend. It has been so wonderful to be able to “attend” Mass through on-line access, however, nothing replaces going to church for so many reasons.
The Eucharist is what brings us together with Christ. It has been lonely without this weekly/daily offering. Music and fellowship compliment the receiving of the Body to make up the weekly ritual. At this time, we cannot offer Mass in person, however, the church and school are still operating. The day to day operations of both entities look different but there are many lives and livelihoods connected to our church world.
This has been such a time of unknowns. People are nervous and scared about what will come and how life might change. What we do know is that “God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble” (Psalm 46:1). If you are able, please consider giving your weekly offering to the church. There are several different ways this can be done:
1-Electronic Contribution:

2-Drop box at the back of the church
3-Drop box at the school
4-Parish office
5-Mail
Teachers and staff are working each day to create plans, align curriculum, participate in webinars, reach out to families, and to find ways to teach in our new reality. Please remember that 86% of the church plate goes each week for the operations of the church and school which include salaries, insurance, operating costs, and helping others in need.
If you are able, please find a way to give a weekly offering to the church or if you are in need of assistance, please contact myself or the church.
The Scrip crew is still able to fill Scrip orders. Please consider dropping Scrip orders off in the drop box at school. The wonderful Scrip crew will then contact you about pick up.
St. Stanislaus and St. Margaret parishes are blessed with such giving members. We continue to ask for prayers for our Diocese, the leaders in our Diocese that are making tough decisions each day, for our world leaders, for all of the healthcare workers, and the sick. We pray that through Mary’s intercession and Christ's guiding hope, that this Virus ends and we can come out stronger!
Blessings,
Mrs. Angie Shelangoski

A message from Staci Kampeter, the school nurse at Helias
With the continued spread of COVID-19 throughout our state, we would really like to bring all the support we can to our local hospitals, doctors, and nurses. They are on the front line of this terrible virus every day and we want to help support them as much as we can. As a Helias Community, we would like to donate any Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) we have around our homes or businesses. This would include: boxed or packaged gloves, boxed or packaged masks, N95 masks, and hand sanitizer.
If you would like to donate, you can drop them off at Helias Catholic High School in the breeze way, during our office hours of 8am-1pm daily with no contact to others… OR if you do not want to leave your home, please email Staci Kampeter, our school nurse, directly and she will pick up your supplies off your front porch!! Her email is skampeter@heliascatholic.com
