New Student Drop-Off and Pick-Up locations at West Leyden
In an effort to improve the traffic flow during morning drop off time, we have created a new traffic flow and assigned new parking areas for students. This will go into effect Monday, February 1st. Please see below important information and an attached colorful map for a visual bonus.
- Entrance 11 will be now used as a parent drop off and pick up locations before and after school. This means that there will be a double "One-way" lane towards Entrance 11 to allow for traffic flow.
- Parents will exit through the back of the school by the tennis courts (otherwise known as the "cow pasture")
- Entrance 11 will only be open until 8:35 am once students return to the building. After this time, students will need to be dropped off at Entrance 2.
- Student parking will now be in the back behind the field house ("Blue" area on the map).
- No cars or drop-offs will be allowed in the South Drive (by Entrance 5). This is for Leyden bus traffic only.
- Entrance 10 will be used by busses for special education transport only.
