9.11.2001 Patriots Day
Today marks a significant day in American history. I would like all of us to take a moment to recall the events of September 11, 2001. Nineteen years ago on this date at about 8:46 am, a series of terrorist attacks began and took the lives of 2,977 individuals, destroying the twin towers of the World Trade Center in New York City and severely damaging the Pentagon in Washington, DC. As part of these attacks, terrorists also hijacked a plane which crashed in a field in Shanksville, Pennsylvania, killing all 44 people on board. On this day we remember our fallen American heroes who tragically died as a result of these attacks. Congress has memorialized the victims by declaring today as Patriot Day. Thank you for your support and also honoring our fallen.

School Pictures - September 14th – 18th
Hello Fraser Families,
As mentioned in the orientation meetings, our student photos will be taken next week, September 14th – 18th. At this event, students will take their photos and receive their ID’s. In order to keep numbers low and maintain distancing and safety protocols, we have assigned specific times by alphabet and student class. Please see the table below for your child’s time.
The procedure for this event will be the following:
- Students arrive and park in the Klein side parking lot near the glass cafeteria wall.
- We ask that students arrive within the first 5 minutes of their assigned time.
- Students will line up to enter the cafeteria to take their photo and receive their ID.
- Only 10 students will be allowed in the cafeteria at a time.
- After a student takes their photo and receives their ID, they will exit out of the cafeteria and back to their car/ride.
- The process should be fairly quick.
- All students must follow the student dress code, remain socially distanced while in line, and wear masks at all times (except for when taking their photo).
- If you cannot make your schedule time, please sign up for a time on Friday, September 18th using this sign-up genius link: Sign-Up Genius
- We would kindly ask that efforts to make the assigned time are made as there is limited time on Friday.
We will schedule a picture make-up/retake day later this semester for students that
cannot make any time or do not like how their first picture turned out. We understand that students have scheduled classes during their appointed time, the teaching staff is aware that this is occurring and your child will not be penalized for missing/being late to their live teaching. Students will need to check their BlackBoard classes to see what needs to be done for the class they miss. As always, communication with the teacher is the best practice.
Pictures can be ordered through mylifetouch.com using picture ID: EVTSSN6Q9
If you have questions, please contact Mr. Ray’s office at (586) 439-7280.
