Evergreen Middle School - April 12, 2024
Straight From Syron
Happy Friday Grizzly Families,
Our third quarter ended today which hardly seems possible! What does the start of the fourth quarter mean? It means we are down to 45 school days! We hope our students are ready to finish strong. Next week we will have our third assessment in FastBridge and we plan to start our state testing on May 20th. Encourage your student to do the best they can on these benchmark assessments. We ask students to bring the “old school” headphones in for these assessments.
We have a couple of High 5 events coming up. Family baseball night with our Spokane Indians on April 19th, and our annual trip to Silverwood Theme Park on May 4th. Make sure you look at the information below on how to purchase tickets for these student/family events.
So many students have turned out for a spring sport and we look forward to watching them compete in some warmer weather! It’s not too late for students to join a sport. We encourage the participation at EMS.
Have a great weekend.

State Testing
We strongly encourage families to plan their appointments, trips and absences around State Testing. The scores give us the data we need to correctly place students in their classes so it is important students get adequate rest, eat well and are present for all testing dates to help ensure the best possible scores are collected.
