Identify and use geographic resources that help you determine locations, including maps and globes. Identify the physical characteristics of a place, such as landforms, bodies of water, planet resources, and climate. Use spatial terms, including above, below, near, far, left, and right, to describe a relative location. Edit drafts with the assistance of an adult using the common conventions of the Spanish language in complete sentences. Describe personal connections to a variety of information sources.
Last but not least, we want to reinforce our mantra of the power of play. Kindergarten is a time of great academic development. It is also a time when children form and solidify connections with their peers, develop social skills, and strengthen their ability to communicate their observations and thoughts. Play is an integral part of our day, as it nurtures social and emotional development.
