Newton's Laws of Emotion
by Waku Wright
Newton's 1st Law of Motion
An object at rest will remain at rest until a net force is acted on; or an object will stay in constant motion unless a net force acts on it.
- Law of Inertia
- ex. a ball will stay at rest until kicked or a ball will keep rolling until stopped by someone
Home Experiment: Newton's First Law/Law of Inertia
Newton's 2nd Law of motion
Acceleration of an objects is in the same direction that the net force is applied on the object.
- F=ma Force = mass x acceleration
- Greater the force; the greater the acceleration
- ex. when you push a toy car it will go further and faster than if you push a real car
Newton's Second Law of Motion (F=ma)
Newton's 3rd law of Moition
For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction.
- greater the mass, Greater the momentum
- Action = Reaction
- A person pushes someone and they push you back
