Superintendent Memo
April 12, 2024
April Showers Bring May Flowers!
Our students have been busy taking the MCA tests in reading, math and science. This is an intense time for our kiddos with academic expectations as well as increased activities. Please encourage your children to take care of themselves by eating nutritious foods and getting a lot of sleep.
What a wonderful start to our spring sports season! Track, baseball, tennis and golf teams are practicing everyday and some have even begun to have competitions. Good luck to all of our athletes! Band and Choir students are rehearsing for their spring concerts and performances. We are looking forward to the Litchfield Live Concert on Friday, May 3 at 8PM.
This time of year many classes go on field trips. Some are walking field trips (Rise and Roam, Bowling, parks) and some can be full day outings (Twins games, science museum). We can provide a healthy lunch if needed - just notify your child's teacher.
Take time to enjoy all of the spring events as this time of year goes by quickly! Remember to check our webpage for the most up to date event schedules.
