Sunday School: “Dive In”
I hope that everyone is doing well. This Sunday our lesson is “Dive In: Bring Your Life Jacket”. I encourage you to share this with your children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, any kids!!! I will have copies at the church if you are unable to print and am available to meet you there at any time. You might also want to check out some books from our library. I would also be happy to mail the lesson to you. Let’s stay in touch. I can be reached via email at mpcr4@yahoo.com or my cell phone 309-253-3979. Yours in Christ, Pat
Upper Room Devotionals

Finance Note
Thank you, Prospect, for your faithful financial giving over the past two weekends! We have received several large contributions that have been a huge blessing. We are working hard to reduce our typical monthly expenses (having temporarily released our custodians to work at a critical healthcare facility in Peoria, turning off the boiler/chiller for the original building, etc.). Our typically weekly "need" (once monthly automated withdrawals are received) is roughly $6500. We know that our community is facing a tough economic reality and greatly appreciate your faithfulness to God's mission through Prospect.
If you would like to sign up for automatic withdraw, a form is attached below.
TRUSTEE NOTE:
FOOD PANTRY DONATIONS
Thank you for the outpouring of donations that are helping to keep the food pantry supplied!
*If you know if anyone who could use assistance from our food pantry, please let them know that we are 'open.' Normal hours are Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 9:00-11:00 AM, but we are also offering flexible hours to those who contact the church with needs.
The following are our current high needs items: popcorn, peanut butter, pasta/sauces, soups, breakfast bars, fruit & toiletries.
HIGHWAY CLEAN-UP
2020 Graduates
Let's give our Prospect seniors a little extra love as their high school experience comes to an end by putting together some "congratulatory care packages."
Our high school seniors include:
Jenna Shelby (Dunlap High School)
Annie Pollard (Dunlap High School)
Emily Daw (Dunlap High School)
Noah Frye (Washington High School)
Matt Cramer (Iowa State University)
Graduation was scheduled for Saturday, May 9th.
We will be accepting cards, gift cards, and any other creative ideas you may want to share with these graduates through Thursday, May 7th. We hope to deliver the "congratulatory care packages" to these seniors on the 9th.
Life Line Screening Event Update
On average, they identify more than 25,000 individuals each year with critical findings of which they were completely unaware. The good news is that the majority of strokes can be avoided through affordable preventive screening programs. Since half of all strokes and 75 percent of all abdominal aortic aneurysms occur with no symptoms, it's a tremendous service to both the congregation and community.

You can contact the office for paperwork and survey information!
