CRAYON DRIVE INFO
The WBSD is teaming up with the Crayon Initiative to collect your old, broken, unwanted crayons and keep them out of landfills and in the hands of children! We will take your crayons and send them off to be recycled- melted down and made into new crayons which will be donated to kids in hospitals. How can you help? Send in your old crayons and ask your child to take them to Room 119 to be recycled.

NEW UPDATES:
- Students are provided a lock to secure their belongings during gym class. Please make sure students are using their locks.
- If students need a chromebook because their chromebook is broken, then they should do it during the first hour unless they arrive at school late.
CHROMEBOOK REMINDER...
Students are expected to bring their district assigned chromebook, charged to school every day. If a student forgets their chromebook, the student should call home and have their parents bring their chromebook to school. If this is not possible then there is a small number of chromebooks available to be borrowed on a first come first serve basis. Borrowed chromebooks should be returned 10 minutes before the end of the day or when they are finished using them, whichever is sooner. If a student does not return the chromebook the same day, they will not be able to borrow another chromebook for the rest of that week. Excessive chromebook infractions may result in additional consequences.

THE WARRIOR WAY PODCAST
Here are some of the key features and benefits of the Zonar My View system:
Real-Time Bus Tracking: Parents can monitor the precise location of their child's school bus, within your chosen alert zone to view route changes, and receive estimated times of arrival, ensuring that you stay informed.
Customized Alerts: The My View mobile app allows you to set up customized alerts, such as notifications when your child boards and disembarks from the bus, using their Z Pass®.
Enhanced Student Safety: Each student who rides the bus will be assigned a Z Pass® tag, which they can swipe when boarding and disembarking for those who are interested. This system helps us track who is on which bus, enhancing the overall safety of our students.
Missing Children: In the unlikely event of a missing child, we can quickly identify when and where a rider got on or off the bus, assisting in the search efforts.
Assisting Parents: For parents looking for their child's bus, the Zonar My View system provides accurate and timely information, making the process of locating the bus hassle-free.
PHMS PARKING LOT REMINDERS
The main goals for the PHMS Parking Lot are to: ensure all students and drivers are safe and protected as they are dropping off and picking up and that we can get vehicles in and out as quickly and safely as possible. In order to obtain those goals we need everyone to be on the same page and do their part. If we all work together and follow the information below we can make sure the mornings and afternoons are as stress free as possible.
Thank you for doing your part!
Parking Lot Reminders:
* When entering the parking loops for DROP OFF please ensure you pull into either LANE 1, 2, and 3.
*When entering the parking loops for PICK UP please ensure you pull into ONLY Lane 1 & 2. You can park as well in provided parking spots.
* We ask you to please pull forward in these loops until you reach the crosswalk (LANE 1 and 2) or the car in front of you to ensure that we can get in as many cars as possible.
* When you have pulled up as far as you can we ask that you "Drop where you Stop". This will allow nearly 40 cars at one time to drop off their student which will make the line run quickly and safely.
* When students are "Drop where you Stop" we want to remind all students to walk on the sidewalk and not in the road. If you are dropping in LANE 2 or 3 please use the crosswalk to cross the road with the guidance of our parking lot attendant.
* We do ask that all drivers watch and listen to the parking lot attendant as they will direct you when it is safe to drive past the crosswalk.
