Hamilton Intermediate
March News
Welcome!
It was another great month at Hamilton Intermediate School. Students got the chance to engage in some hands-on learning, have fun, and challenge themselves.
We hope everyone had a safe and fun Spring Break and is back to school refreshed and ready to learn!
Parents and guardians, please be aware that Ohio State Testing is just around the corner. Students will need headphones for all tests except English Language Arts!
Hands On Science
Mrs. Fullen's science classes got to learn about electricity by creating their own circuits! They experimented with which items conducted electricity and which did not.
What conducts electricity?
How do circuits work?
How can do we make this work?
Fossil Presentation
The Franklin County Soil and Water Conservation District gave their Fossils presentation to our 4th Grade students on Thursday, February 29th. Students learned about fossil types, how fossils are formed, and also about fossils specific to Ohio. Students were engaged in hands-on activities throughout the entire presentation, and also got the opportunity to touch fossils and classify fossils. This presentation aligns with the CKLA ELA 4th Grade Geology Unit, and the students really enjoyed the experience!
