***Google Meet***
Here are some best practices for using Google Meet. Here are a couple of the best video links to share with your teachers and staff: (Lisa Ryan)
- Google Meet Is Now Integrated with Google Classroom: Read this blog post and scroll down to watch the video detailing how to use Google Meet through Google Classroom.
- Google Meet: Basic Use and Features: This is a great overview of the basics.
- Google Meet: Recording a Meeting: This is only ON for teachers/staff. It is OFF for students. The person recording the meeting should inform participants at the beginning of the meeting that it is being recorded.
- Google Meet: Grid View Extension: This extension allows the "Brady Bunch" or grid view feature that people like in Zoom. This extension has been "whitelisted" for everyone meaning that anyone in RPS can download and install it from the Chrome Web Store. It does not work on mobile devices.
- Google Meet: Interactive Whiteboard Tools: Both whiteboard tools are usable by teachers/staff and students.
