A Message from the Director...
Dear Career Tech Students and Families,
We only have one more week until spring break, which is an awesome chance to take a step back from school and recharge ourselves. Once we're back, seniors will enter the final stretch, which is a crucial period to achieve their academic goals and set a strong foundation for their future. It's important to stay positive, motivated, and driven towards success during this time. Don't worry, we've got this! By setting clear objectives, creating a study schedule, and prioritizing tasks, we can finalize all the details and make sure we're well-prepared for the next phase of our lives. Let's work hard and make the most of this time together!
Kind regards,
Stephanie Bigelow M.A., L.P.C.

If students would like to enroll in the same program for a 2nd year, they should be working with their current instructor about what that 2nd year would entail. Robotics & Engineering Students go to Hicks Elementary
On Friday, March 8th, Ms. Barnard's Robotics and Engineering class went to visit 4th and 5th grade students at Hicks Elementary. The High School students took the lesson plans that they had written for the SAM lab robots and taught Mr. Carlson's students at Hicks how to use the robots. The Robotics students helped the elementary students learn how to assemble the autonomous cars and then how to program them to follow a light, move across the floor, and spin. Thank you to Mr. Carlson and Mrs. Gee, Hicks Elementary's principal, for allowing the William D. Ford Career-Technical Center students to visit you and to collaborate with your students. It was a magical day!
