Principal's Message
Dear Parkview Families,
As we transition into the vibrant season of spring, I wanted to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude for the wonderful experiences we've shared throughout this past month. From exciting classroom discoveries to engaging outdoor activities, our Parkview community continues to shine brightly.
Inside our classrooms, our students have been thriving, exploring new concepts, and demonstrating remarkable growth. It's truly inspiring to witness their enthusiasm for learning and their eagerness to embrace new challenges. Whether it's a science experiment that sparks curiosity or a literary discussion that ignites creativity, every moment of learning is a testament to our students' dedication and resilience.
Beyond the confines of the classroom, our students have also been actively involved in various enriching experiences. From outdoor field trips to community service projects, they have been making a positive impact both within our school walls and in the wider community. These experiences not only foster a sense of belonging and compassion but also cultivate invaluable life skills that will serve them well in the future.
As we look ahead to the upcoming assessment schedule, I want to remind you of the importance of communication regarding any absences your child may have. Please ensure that you inform your child's teacher if they will be absent during the assessment period. Additionally, you can find the detailed assessment schedule near the end of this newsletter for your reference.
The last section of the newsletter contains Mr. Anderson's communication. You should be able to click on the picture and it is linked to more information on the referendum. I would like to take this moment and encourage you to go vote on April 2nd.
In closing, let's approach the arrival of spring with a sense of anticipation and gratitude for the remarkable journey we've shared thus far. Together, as a dedicated community of educators, parents, and students, we will continue to nurture a learning environment where every child can thrive and succeed.
Thank you for your ongoing support and partnership.
Warm regards,
Mr. Allen Parkview Principal
Course Selections for 24-25
Hello Families,
We're thrilled to share that our students have already begun filling out course requests for the 24-25 school year in their W.I.N. classes during the week of February 12th. Your support and involvement in this process are invaluable. These are only requests.
As they navigate through course selections, we encourage students to take the time to carefully choose courses that align with their interests, abilities, and goals. Gathering information from various sources including teachers, school counselors, parents, and administrators will help them build their academic program for each year.
We also urge them to engage in discussions with their teachers about class options and levels. Additionally, it's never too early to start thinking about life after graduation. Encourage them to ponder their plans and ensure they are meeting the requirements not only for Parkview but also for college or specialized training.
Guardians, please sign the form and ensure its return as soon as possible. Remember, thoughtful academic and career planning is key to setting our students on the path toward success and maximizing their future options. Let's support them every step of the way as they embark on this exciting journey!
