2nd Annual Laura Bishop Communications Scholarship - Morris County
After the great success of last year's scholarship, we are very excited to partner with Laura Bishop Communications, LLC, to offer the 2nd Annual Laura Bishop Communications Scholarship - Morris County in collaboration with the Morris County School Boards Association. The award is $1,000 and is geared toward a student interested in majoring or minoring in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field.

Morris County SBA Inaugural Architecture Scholarship
The Morris County School Boards Association will partner with the architectural firm Parette Somjen Architects, LLC, to offer an Inaugural Architecture Scholarship. The award is $500 and is geared toward students interested in majoring or minoring in an architectural field in college.

403 Reasons to Run, Inc. Inaugural First Responder Award
In collaboration with the Morris County School Boards Association, we are introducing the 403 Reasons to Run, Inc. Inaugural First Responder Award. The award is $1,004.03 and is geared toward a High School Senior currently serving as a First Responder (EMT, Firefighter).
Essay Prompt: What was your motivation for choosing the path of a First Responder? If there is a family connection to law enforcement, the medical field, or firefighting, please include it in the essay.

FAFSA Update
Photography Contest Exhibition
We had two students accepted into the 23rd Annual Drexel University High School Photography Contest Exhibition.
Roxbury Visual Arts students, Priscilla Gorgas and Skylar Skupienski had their photographs selected and on view at Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA. The reception was held on Saturday, Feb 17th.
Drexel received 2100 Photographs from 766 students, with 221 schools represented, and work from 31 states. This competitive contest selected photographs from only 160 students, representing 27 states for the exhibition.
Priscilla and Sklyar exemplify what it means to be dedicated to their art. Congratulations!
Mt. Olive Art Invitational Awards
Congratulations to these talented students who won awards last night at the Mt. Olive NAHS Art Invitational. There were 12 schools in attendance and 120 artworks competing.
A Pilone: 2nd Place Open Category & $28,000 annual scholarship to Hartford Art School-Hartford University.
Priscilla Gorgas: 2nd Place Photography Category & $25,000 annual scholarship to Moore College of Art & Design in Philadelphia.
Jacob Goebel: 1st Place Digital Media Category
Lit Mag Is Open
Just wanted to share that Angelina submitted a design into the Hats Off For Helmets logo design contest hosted by the Atlantic Health System that encourages ski and snowboarders to wear their helmets while they are on the slopes. Angelina placed 2nd for the high school category and won a triple pass for Mountain Creek for the 2024-2025 winter season.
Thank you Roxbury Diner
Thanks to the Roxbury Diner and the Dontas Family! The Class of 2026, with the help of the Roxbury Diner and the Dontas family was able to fundraise $250 on the opening night of Roxbury's play, Mean Girls. Roxbury appreciates the support of our local businesses and community members!
Alumni Update
Rebecca Wood Class of 2021 RHS was part of the team that won a Pennsylvania Association of Broadcasters award for Broadcasting Excellence for use of digital media. They were the only college radio station to win awards as all the other winners were professional stations. Also, Rebecca her pod cast partner were also nominated for Best Podcast from the Intercollegiate Broadcasting System.
Way to go Paige Monaghan, Class of 2015. Paige was named captain of the Utah Royals women’s soccer team yesterday!
