Sara and Kate from My Sisters Keeper are a perfect example of parental love because through out the whole book Sara is always looking out for Kate's well being and her only hope is that Kate's cancer is cured.
Jack and Rose from The Titanic
Jack and Rose are a great example of this archetype because this is a romance movie. The fear for Lovers is losing one another, and at the very end of this movie Jack and Rose come to the realization that they will be losing each other and they are heart broken.
Meredith and Cristina from Grey's Anatomy
Meredith and Cristina are example of this archetype because they consider one another each others "person". They do everything together and tell one another everything. They, similar to Jack and Rose are afraid of losing each and they eventually do in season 10.
Adolfo & Alice ~ A Short Story
Alice is a single mother living in the Bronx. At age 17 Alice found herself in a very sticky situation . Knocked up and on her own, Alice was determined to make the best of the situation and provide for her child. After applying for dozens of jobs she landed a bar tending gig, no place for an unborn child, but money was money. Coming to the realization that Alice and her child would not live a life of Glamour, she started renting a one bedroom flat in the Bronx. Eight and a half months later Alice became a mother. Eighteen years later Alice attended her son Adolfo's graduation. Now a manager and partial owner of the bar she used to own minimum wage at proves that parental love perseveres.
