The Weekly Hoot
April 10-16, 2017
Greetings All -
Happy Friday! I know everyone is ready to go out and enjoy doing something fun this weekend! I plan on going to the Bluebonnet Festival in Chappell Hill tomorrow with some friends. Nothing like looking at bluebonnets and spending money!
We are beginning what I think is the busiest "season" of the year...the "end of school" season. I appreciate the level of engagement that I see during walkthroughs. I know, at times, it would be easier to give busy work to your students and get some of the endless things we ask you to get done completed, but it is nice and reassuring to know that you all are professionals and are not doing that. I know that I thank you, but I promise your students thank you also.
I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!
Love to all,
Marcy
Owl Wings This Week Go To...
As I went in to get my lunch one day this week, I noticed all of the cafeteria ladies were smiling and laughing. It is great to see people being in good moods and spreading joy with a smile. Thank you for that Melissa Ojeda, Jannel Patton, and Lola Bowles. It was much needed on that day, and is always appreciated. :)
Also, a special "thank you" to everyone who helped in ensuring that our students were able to participate in Special Olympics on Wednesday! We had short notice of the event, but it worked out great, and our kiddos did amazing. Thank you to all who helped make that possible.
