Definition
Repetition of a clause or phrase at the end of one sentence and beginning of a nearby one.
Description
- CLAUSE: containing a subject and predicate and forming part of a sentence
- PHRASE:
a sequence of two or more words arranged in a sentence. - it originates from the Greek language.
- its used mostly in poetry and speeches.
- it helps speaker get their point across.
- it helps poets rhyme
- usually short words like love, hate, and fear.
Example
- "Fear is the path to the dark side. Fear leads to anger. Anger leads to hate. Hate leads to suffering. I sense much fear in you."

This example uses the words fear, anger, and hate as the repeating words. Its a perfect example because the words repeat at the begging and end of the sentences.
