This spring all public school students in grades 3-8 and 10 will once again take the Wisconsin state assessment, the Forward Exam. State assessments are required by both State (Wis. Stat. § 118.30) and Federal ESSA (Every Student Succeeds Act) Law. The state assessment testing window runs between March 18 and April 26, 2024. Each 3rd and 4th grade classroom has a specific testing schedule within that testing window. As it becomes available, testing dates and details will be communicated by your child's teacher.
