Theme
Only the hard things in life are meaningful.
Like Katniss, at points I find myself in some hard times at times. Not as big as trying to save the country from wicked rulers of course, but fighting the small wars, like middle school's work load. Or even with the snow that is falling, I thought about inviting the new kid over to my house to fool around in the snow, but by the time I made my decision it was too late. Sometimes like Katniss, I wish I had a redo button so that I could change the timing of my decision. No revolutions, but when all of us are walking by seeing a kid get teased, we should take action. If I could see the future so I know which bullets to dodge and which bullets to take head on, that would be wonderful. We all struggle, we all say that something in our lives is hard, but what most of us don't realize is that it's only the hard things in life that are worth something.
