School Attendance
One of the greatest indicators of school success is excellent school attendance. We need your continued support and efforts regarding school attendance. Under Wisconsin State Law, parents can excuse their children for a maximum of 10 school days per year. Absences accrued beyond the 10 school days can result in referrals for truancy. Please provide documentation for any absences due to medical appointments.
Transportation Changes
Please take the time to communicate transportation changes with your child’s classroom teacher and the office. We realize that we live in a digital age and email is a fantastic tool but please make sure that you receive a response from either the secretary or the classroom teacher prior to the end of the day. If you do not receive a response before 2:00 PM, please call the office to relay this information.
Drop Off and Pick Up at OES
All students will enter through door 1 and proceed to their classrooms. All students are expected to arrive no later than 7:55 a.m.
A procedure that will continue is how we handle adults entering the building throughout the school day.
- We are asking parents to drop their children off at the front door, we will have staff there to assist students.
- If you need to enter the building you are required to report to the office to sign in.
- This can be for lunch money drop off, medical notes, and meetings scheduled with staff.
- Lunch money can also be paid online
Students will all be released through door 1 at the end of the school day. Bus Riders will be released at 2:55 pm and walkers/riders shortly after. We ask that you please not crowd the sidewalk in front of door 1 to allow students to exit the building.
Please make sure to take the time to communicate with your child's classroom teacher and Ms. Rodger in the office about any transportation changes that need to be made for that day.

Oxford Elementary PTO
The Oxford Elementary PTO is a group of parents, grandparents, and school staff who plan fun events for students and their families in and out of school. We fundraise for upgrades/items needed for the school, school supplies, events for students, and field trips. We partner with community members, parents, volunteers and staff to support our students, their families and the staff at Oxford Elementary. The PTO depends on volunteers to be able to function!
Please follow our Facebook page and watch your child's folder for volunteer opportunities. We are also always looking for more people to attend our PTO meetings to help plan events and fundraisers.
Join us the first Wednesday of each month at 3:30pm in the Oxford Elementary Cafeteria for our meetings!
