Our student day begins at 8:40 AM and ends at 3:20 PM. Specific grade level schedules can be found below. This schedule will correspond to courses students will be able to see in PowerSchool. ATTENDANCE
Students are expected to virtually attend homeroom and each of their classes every day. If a student cannot attend classes for the day, parents will need to call the attendance office absence line (215.420.5196) to report the absence by 9:00 AM. The same procedure must be followed for a student who becomes ill during a portion of the school day or cannot attend all classes for an unforeseen reason.
If a student is marked present for the day during homeroom, but does not virtually attend each class that day, teachers will reach out to parents to inform them of the missed classes. Additional steps will be taken if a pattern of missed classes is observed.

FEEDBACK & GRADING
Feedback on assignments and assessments will be given by teachers through CANVAS or other instructional platforms.
KV will return to its letter grade structure (A, B, etc.) for all trimesters. This is a major difference from the Pass/Fail system used during Trimester 3 last school year!
Student assignments and assessments will be individually graded with the scores recorded in PowerSchool. In some instances, comments will be added to explain individual grades.
