Methotrexate
Used for treating- breast, head and neck, and lung cancer.
Methotrexate is an injection used alone or in combination with other medications to treat breast lung, certain types of head and neck cancer, and leukemia. Methotrexate injection comes as a poser to be mixed with liquid to be injected into a muscle, veins, arteries, or into the fluid-filled space of the spinal canal. The length of the of treatment depend on the drugs you are taking, and how well your body responds to them. Another factor is the type of cancer you have.
Side effects of the drug.
joint or muscle pain, red eyes, swollen gums, hair loss. Serious side effects are vomiting, blurred vision, fever, severe headache, stiff neck, seizures, confusion, memory loss, weakness or difficulty moving one or both sides of the body, difficulty walking, loss of consciousness Impaired speech, decreased urination, selling, hive itching skin rash and difficulty breathing.
