Panther Post
September 12 - 17, 2016
Hello Lopez Families,
We are into the regular routine now and it is nice to see all of the involvement. The games have been packed with students and parents and the band played at the Reagan football game. If you want to see student involvement, go to a Reagan game. Band, football players, cheerleaders, dance team, student council, and spirit organizations - the list goes on and on. Everytime I go, I am amazed and proud to be part of something that brings so many together. I really feel it adds an important piece to our kid's development and educational experience. It is something you will not get at private or charter schools, or even public schools in many other states. Come out and see for yourself. You will love it!

A Message for the Lopez Band Families
We would like to invite you to the Lopez Middle School Band Parent Meeting on Tuesday, September 13 in the Band Hall. This is the same night as Lopez Middle School's Open House next week. The schedule is below and we would like to have at least one parent representative per student at the meeting.
There will be a sign-in sheet to ensure we have communicated with each household that night. Because we will be transitioning from one group meeting to the next, there will not be time for parent conferences Tuesday night. Please feel free to e-mail us at a later date to discuss any further questions. This meeting is pertinent to your child's participation in Lopez Band this year, so we look forward to seeing you Tuesday evening!
5:30 - 5:55 pm - Beginner Band Parent Meeting
6:00 - 6:25 pm - Advanced Band Parent Meeting
6:30 pm - Open House begins and you'll follow your child's schedule
Welcome to the Lopez Band program and thank you in advance for your continued support throughout this school year!
