Principal's Message - Book Character Day was a SUCCESS
Thank you to all the students and staff who participated in our first spirit day of the year. This day was a great way to wrap up our short week. It gave me such joy to see all these happy faces! Enjoy these photos of our day!

Captain Jack Sparrow
Colt Low from Mrs. Bunce's class went above and beyond with his Captain Jack Sparrow costume! He looked like a true pirate!
Girl Power
Jolene Stedman (The Queen of Hearts) and Savannah Peters (Super Girl) from Mrs. Price's class enjoyed this spirit day.
Believe Kids Fundraiser runs until Friday, November 6th. This weekend is the perfect time to sell items!
Bucket Fillers of the Month
Each month we like to recognize students who fill our buckets. Bucket Fillers are students with strong moral character and positive behavior. This year we will be choosing our recipients based on the 7 Habits of Happy Kids by Sean Covey. This month we are recognizing students who exhibit the first habit. These are kids who take initiative and have integrity. These kids have shown they are very responsible. Language Arts Recipients of the month

Homeless Youth
Each year we have students who experience homelessness. In the event that your family does not have permanent housing or you know a homeless family with children, please reach out to the Pinewood School office to speak with Kim Little who serves as the district homeless youth liaison. We want to make sure we provide needed support to these students so they can be successful at school.
