Some of Mrs. Shaver’s Biology 1 Honors students assisted with STEM Night at Rhea Central Elementary School. High school students led families in genetics activities that included tasting several different flavors to determine if they were “super tasters." Pre-school and kindergarten students were also led in a genetics coloring activity. Students both big and small enjoyed the night!
Students in Mrs. Soard's Biology 2 Classes conducted the following labs:
1] Cilantro Lab - Does it taste like soap?
2] Karyotype Lab - Solve the Genetic disorder.
