Irving ISD State of the District
Irving ISD will host its second annual State of the District event this March, and Superintendent Magda Hernandez could not be more proud. “Our students and staff are dedicated to growing, serving and rising together. We are proud of our story, and excited to share it with our community,” she says. The event, themed “Together, We RISE,” will be held in person on Tuesday, March 8, at 11:30 AM at the Irving Convention Center and will feature discussions about the district’s efforts to reignite students’ passion for learning through innovative initiatives, how community partners support district success, and the ways Irving ISD is empowering students and parents to become lifelong learners. Businesses and community partners are invited to show their support through sponsorships. Sponsorship opportunities include a gold, silver and bronze level at $5,000, $2,500 and $1,500 respectively. Each level includes various benefits and amenities. For details, visit IrvingISD.net/SOTDsponsorships. Interested businesses and individuals wishing to sponsor the event may contact Dr. Nicole Mansell, Irving ISD Chief of Marketing and Communications, at amansell@irvingisd.net. “We are excited to share with our stakeholders the accomplishments of all of our outstanding students and staff, and share an inside look at the district’s goals,” says Board President Randy Randle. “There is no question that the last two years have been a challenge in public education, but Irving ISD students and staff have risen to every challenge and proved to be unstoppable in their pursuit of success.” “We hope many will join us in person on Tuesday, March 8, as we gather our business and community leaders,” says Superintendent Hernandez. “Irving ISD is determined to RISE together, and we cannot wait to tell our story!” For more information on the event, including how to purchase tickets, visit IrvingISD.net/StateOfTheDistrict.
