Milton High School Open House~ Wednesday, September 20th!
Student leaders will be present in the building to help guide you if necessary.
The schedule for the evening can be found here.
Demographic, Handbook and Contact Information Updates
Every year, we expect our students and families to read our Student Handbook, update their contact information and confirm for us what we are allowed to share with third parties. In order to confirm the handbook has been read and to update permissions and contact information, you must have online access to PowerSchool. If you have not set up your parent portal and need assistance, you can fill out this Family PowerSchool Support Google Form.
We are asking all families to access the Emergency and Household Contacts, Milton High School Back to School and Chromebook Loan Agreement forms on PowerSchool. To access these forms from the website please log into PowerSchool and click FORMS from the left menu. To access the forms from the app click "More" in the bottom right corner and go to FORMS.
PowerSchool Support-AJ Melanson, Director of Educational Technology will be at MHS on September 21st from 7:45am-8:15am to support any family that needs assistance creating their PowerSchool account.
Student Shout Outs!!
We want to give a shout out to Alex McEttrick and Daniel Steinberg, who are NMSQT semifinalists! They are part of just 1% of the nation's high school graduating seniors that now qualify for the National Merit Scholarship Program. Good luck Alex and Daniel! We also want to give a shout out to Kevin Gomes, Hilda Alexis, Kai Quinones, David Mitchell, Karim Camara, and Malcolm Frank-McKnight who were awarded with Academic Honors from College Board National Recognition Programs!
These recognition programs celebrate students' hard work in high school and showcase their strong academic performance. The academic honors for rural area, Black, Indigenous, and/or Latino students are an opportunity for students to share their strong academic achievements with colleges and scholarship programs that are seeking to recruit diverse talent.
We’re thrilled to recognize our students for the great work they’ve been doing and we’re proud of their strong academic performance in the classroom and on College Board assessments.

A Message from the MHS PTO
Welcome back, MHS families!
The MHS PTO is a small group of parents and guardians who plan 5-6 staff appreciation events throughout the year - a welcome back lunch, dinner during parent teacher conferences, holiday treats, gift cards, etc. The MHS teachers and staff do so much for our kids and these small tokens of appreciation are a way for us to say a collective thank you.
There are two ways to be a part of and volunteer with MHS PTO - time and money.
- If you can help with one staff appreciation event this year (a one-time, 2-3 hour commitment), please email Jess Heaton at jrheaton04@yahoo.com to help with an event that works for your schedule.
- If you are able, donations can be made online at this link or by dropping a check made out to the MHS PTO at the front office. Parent donations are the only funding source for the PTO. Your donation goes directly to these teacher appreciation events.
Thank you so much for your support of the MHS staff. Wishing you and your family a great school year!
Michelle Cardoza, Stephanie O’Keefe, and Jess Heaton
