Special Thanks from Ike's Staff!
As you know, last week was Teacher & Staff Appreciation Week. On behalf of all of our staff members we'd like to thank you for the cards, flowers, and treats. They warmed our hearts and filled our bellies. We are all proud to be part of the Eisenhower family and appreciate you sharing your children with us.
ARE YOU RETURNING TO EISENHOWER IN THE FALL?
We are beginning to plan for the 2022-2023 school year at this time. It would be extremely helpful for us to know whether or not your child will be returning to Fraser in the fall. We are asking each family to help us with this process by completing the form below. Please take a moment to fill it out. Please complete ONE FORM per child.
We greatly appreciate your assistance planning for next school year!
The Cardboard Arcade
Completing M-STEP Testing
Each spring, the State of Michigan and the US Department of Education (USDE) require us to assess students in certain subject areas through the M-STEP, PSAT and SAT. The assessments provide the district with a snapshot of student achievement at the state, district, and building levels. Individual student results will also be shared with parents.
Assessment dates for M-Step are as follows:
6th Grade
Wednesday, May 11: ELA M-Step
Please ensure that your child is well rested on their testing day. They should come to school with a fully charged iPad .
Please note- We have makeup days built into our testing schedule, so if your child is exhibiting any symptoms of illness on their testing day- be sure to keep them home.
Spring Vocal Concert - Grades 1-3
All Eisenhower 1-3 grade classes will be presenting a Spring Music Program on Tuesday, May 10, 2022, at 7pm in the Fraser High School Auditorium (Fraser Performing Arts Center).
On the morning of our show, we will have a rehearsal at the Fraser High School Auditorium from 9:30 am – 10:30 am. We will return to Eisenhower at 10:45 am.
Our theme this year will be “American Folk Songs”. We have begun working on our program and are looking forward to our performance in May! To enhance the presentation of our show, the children are invited to wear clothes/costumes that go with the theme: “American Folk Songs”. Some ideas would be pioneer outfits, cowboy, etc.. If a theme related outfit is not available, please have your child dress in their best attire as this is a special occasion. Please be mindful that your child’s attire allows him/her to enter and exit the stage safely. Please do not include accessories that your child will have to hold during the program as they will need the use of their hands.
Please arrive for the program between 6:30 and 6:45 pm. Students will assemble in the F.H.S. choir room located by door #51. The doors to the auditorium will open at 6:30 pm for seating. It is great to be able to present a Spring Program again! The students are very excited to show you what they have learned. I look forward to seeing you soon!!
Sincerely,
Lisa Paradowski
