Fall 2020 Meet Schedule BIG UPDATE
We are excited to announce the RAYS Fall Series, which will consist of four different meets throughout the fall/winter. All RAYS swimmers in Age Group and above are invited to participate.
We will swim the first three meets separately at our home pools (CAC, MVAC + CCAC) before concluding the series with a CHAMPIONSHIP meet all together as a TEAM in December!
Events will vary from meet to meet and we will do our best to give you the opportunity to swim as many different races as possible throughout the Series. Meets #1-3 will take place on Saturday mornings and will run during normal practice times. We plan to make the December Meet a multi-day event. Specific event and sign-up information for Fall Series #1 will be going out next week - stay tuned!
Here is the Tentative RAYS Fall Series Schedule:
MVAC/CCAC

#2 - October 10th
#3 - November 14th

Safety Protocols At Our Pools
-All swimmers will enter around back and have their temperatures taken before entering the pool.
-Please have your mask on upon entry. (Not required to wear during WUTS as we will be socially distancing before entering)
-When on deck, please keep your bags, etc at least 6 feet apart. (We have plenty of deck space to do this)
-No parents will be allowed on deck during practice.
-All swimmers will be exiting through the large bay doors after their practice is over
-*Swimmers: Remember to come to practice with your suits on as we have VERY limited use of the restrooms.
-*ALL DRYLAND AT MVAC (except for WUTS) is suspended and will be done at home. This is a change for Youth and Senior.
Your coach will go over with you what needs to be done at home.
CAC
-All swimmers will have their temperatures taken before WUTS begins [before entering the pool].
-Please have your mask ready before entry. Starting after Labor Day we are required to wear going into the facility.
-When on deck, please go directly to your assigned lane, keep your bags, etc at least 6 feet apart.
-No parents will be allowed on deck during practice.
-All swimmers will be exit through the opposite doors we entered from
-Swimmers: Remember to come to practice with your suits on as we have VERY limited use of the restrooms.
-ALL DRYLAND AT CAC (except for WUTS) will be done at home via Zoom on Monday & Wednesday 6:30 AM [30-40 min]
CCAC
-When you arrive, go to your designated entry to have your temperature taken by your coach. Your group may or may not have a Warm Up To Swim (WUTS) routine going on. Either way, proper social distancing is required before entering the building.
-LAPS parents and carpool drivers: Like all groups swimming now, you may be asked to stay outside of the pool during the practices. A LAPS coach will meet swimmers before practice outside, to lead the group into the facility. If necessary, you may accompany your LAPS swimmer to the pool deck for the first day. Please wear a mask inside the facility. Presently, CCAC is restricting the number of people inside the building. There is no bleacher or lobby seating.
- Wear your mask when entering AND leaving the facilities. Stingrays have their own masks and you may purchase one (or a couple) by emailing coachpike@stingraysswimming.com. We are requiring masks as we have families with high risk households AND we share the public facilities with all ages and demographics. "Training 4 Life" means caring for the physical and emotional well being of others...even if we aren't particularly in high risk groups.
- Use of locker rooms restricted to "potty breaks" and not prolonged changing, especially after practice. Please come to practice with your suit on, ready to go!
