HOME TO SCHOOL LEARNING CONNECTIONS!
ST Math (Computer-Based Math Learning):
- Scholars will follow their Class Path and Personalized Path on ST Math, completing at least 45% on both by April 22nd! Encourage your scholar to meet this goal!
- ST Math is accessible in school and at home, so that scholars can work at their own pace and in any place. Scholars can access ST Math from home through the Dallas ISD Clever page
- It's Adaptive! So the program will keep challenging your scholar as they grow. Even if your scholar completes all of the 6th grade class pathway, they can continue onto 7th grade concepts!
LEXIA (Computer-Based Reading Learning):
- Scholars receive Personalized Instruction on Comprehension, Grammar, and Word Study on Lexia. Based on your scholar's needs, they have Minutes Requirements to meet each week. As them about their progress!
- Lexia is accessible in school and at home, so that scholars can work at their own pace and in any place.
- It's Adaptive! So the program will keep challenging your scholar as they grow. Lexia will address learning gaps from early elementary school years and extend your scholar's learning to high school levels as they progress!
Reading Challenge
Students were given the school goal of reading 1,000 books. The challenge has begun with students reading Liar & Spy in school. I strongly encourage parents to read along with their kids and discuss books to promote literacy on our campus. Please find something you like to read and READ IT. The only rules are as follows:
- The book has to be above 100 pages
- If it is a graphic novel it must be approved by Mr.Moss or Ms.Wolf
- The novel must be entered into the form for it to count (which is linked below)

Shirts available for purchase through the PTSA
Scholars wear your shirts April 18th for Spirit Day!
- Shirts cost 13$
- They come in adult YL. S,M,L,XL, XXL
- Payments must be Cash or Check (made out to IGNITE Middle School)
- Forms and Envelopes will be available in the Main Office
- Sale of shirts will end April 19th
- They will also be for sale in the mornings and during lunches on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday. The morning of Thursday.

AFTER SCHOOL TUTORING
After school tutoring has begun to provide additional support for scholar learning. We encourage all scholars to attend tutoring. Bus transportation is forthcoming.
