Parent and Community Newsletter
Message from Mrs. Mata
Dear Parents and Community,
Parents please do not drop off your child before 7:30. We do not have supervision before 7:30 and we do not want any student to be left alone or unattended. We also ask that you please drive carefully coming through the parking lot and roundabout before and after school . Patience and following our drop off and pick up procedures will help keep all our students safe.
Teacher Parent Conferences are just around the corner. They will be on February 6 from 1:00 - 6:00. Students will be dismissed on this day at 12:00. Please make arrangements to pick up your child on time. Teachers will be in communication with you to schedule your conference time. We look forward to seeing you soon!
January 31st is our 100th day of school!! Your child is welcome to dress up like they are 100 years old this day!

Attendance
Our campus goal is to have a daily attendance rate of 95% or higher. To date our cumulative percentage rate is 93.15%. Make it a New Year's Goal to have your child at school EVERY DAY (unless they are sick, of course!) Some ways you can help us increase our daily attendance rate is by scheduling doctor and dentist appointments after 3:00 PM or on days when we have a break. Please remember research shows there's a direct link between good attendance and high achievement!
HIGH ATTENDANCE Challenge!
Don't forget we are working as a School to Spell out the words:
H - I - G - H
A - T - T - E - N - D - A -N - C - E
Each day we have 95% or higher daily attendance rate we will put up a letter. Once we spell out the words HIGH ATTENDANCE the entire school will have a Pajama Day! We just need to spell out DANCE! Help our kiddos get a PJ day by sending your students to school EVERYDAY!
Birthday Treats Policy
Don't forget you are invited to come have lunch with your child on his/her birthday. We just ask that you please sign in at the front office and obtain a visitor's badge. Thank you!
