Staff Shout-Outs
Mrs. Jacki, PreK Aide
Mrs. Jacki is our fabulous PreK Aide. She has one of the toughest jobs at the beginning of the year helping Mrs. Kelly get all of the PreK babies adjusted to their first days of school. She is very patient and treats all students in a fair and compassionate manner. It is not any easy task trying to get students to and from places at 4 yrs old. Her students love her and we appreciate the job she does working in PreK. #lotsofcrying #Iwantmymama #PreKisnotforwimps #toughlove #herdingcats
Mrs. Robyn, Library
Mrs. Robyn wears many hats for our school. Her main job is running the library, but she helps at Power Up, and provides support to students in the classroom and in PE too. Many students call her Grandma because she is loving and kind to all of our students at Chireno ISD. She is willing to lend a helping hand in any capacity that we have ever needed her to serve. Taking interest in students, learning about the books they want to read, and stocking our library with books that get kids motivated to read is her specialty. #MamaRobyn #yesma'am #whatareyoureading? #respect
Mrs. Laura Blount, ESL & SpEd Aide
Mrs. Blount is such a valuable resource for our district. She is our go-to person when communication with Spanish speaking parents is required. The ESL parents of our community rely on her solely for clarification of first day forms and classroom teacher procedures at the beginning of each year. She also serves as an aide for students that require Special Ed accommodations in the Regular Ed setting. You can see her zipping all over campus daily to meet with parents when they visit our campus. She is a hard worker and we couldn't make it without her skills.
